Bro + economics = Bronomics

How it started

It started the way it always does. You cover the cab. You buy the concert ticket. You pay for the Goa villa "just for now, I'll send it tonight". Then nothing. Weeks pass. You see them post a new phone online.

Asking feels petty. Not asking feels worse. And the third "bhai, paise?" text is the one that ends group chats.

So we made Bro: a moustached, kurta-wearing reminder with excellent comic timing. He visits your friend on your behalf, waves, knocks, stamps the hisaab, does puppy eyes and, on special occasions, brings a dhol. Your friend laughs. You stay the nice one. The money (usually) comes back.

What Bronomics does

• A private khata. Write down who owes whom, both ways. Only you can see it.
• Bro, the messenger. Send a funny animated reminder link from your own WhatsApp. It never mentions money in the message.
• Drama on a dial. Five levels, from a polite wave to full Bollywood. You pick the limit.
• Friends in control. Your friend can laugh, snooze, or stop Bro for good. No app, no sign-up, no promises demanded.

• Dosti first. Banter, never debt collection. No shaming, no threats, no public lists.
• We never send messages. You send every link yourself. No company number, no spam.
• No ads, no data selling. We keep only what the app needs. Download or delete your khata any time. See our privacy policy.
• Money buys characters, never pressure. If we ever sell anything, it will be new Bro characters and lines, never extra reminders or more pushing.
• Not a bank, not a lender. Bronomics never lends, moves or collects money.

Who's behind it

Bronomics is made in Toronto by desi friends who have been on both sides of "kal pakka". It's built for the way South Asian friend groups actually work, wherever they live: Mumbai, Toronto, London, Sydney, Dubai or Singapore.
